Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions related to the feet, ankles, and lower limbs. This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients. The ideal candidate will also possess strong IT skills for maintaining patient records and utilising patient management software.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to see patients for a range of conditions including routine, verrucae/warts, nail surgery, MSK and more.
  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ feet and lower limbs to diagnose conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Perform surgical procedures when necessary, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Educate patients on foot care, prevention of foot-related issues, and overall health maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in podiatry through continuous professional development.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Podiatry, along with relevant clinical experience covering all aspects of Podiatry.
  • Strong communication skills in English are required for effective patient interaction.

Join our friendly team to progress your career as a FHP within a professional and modern setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing routine caseloads, as well as diagnosing and referring for conditions that are not in the scope of practice. This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients. The ideal candidate will also possess strong IT skills for maintaining patient records and utilising patient management software.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to see patients for a range of conditions including routine nail and skins care, verrucae/warts, ingrown toenails, and more.
  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ feet and lower limbs to diagnose conditions.

  • Educate patients on foot care, prevention of foot-related issues, and overall health maintenance.

  • Greeting patients / checking-in
  • Handling a high volume of phone calls and emails
  • Booking / scheduling appointments
  • Billing and taking payments / Insurance billing and reconciliation
  • Following daily opening / closing routine
  • Handling patient enquiries
  • Providing clinical support and assisting Podiatrists
  • Assisting main office, general admin, and clerical duties
  • Ensuring practice is kept clean and tidy
  • Handling deliveries and arranging / putting away stock
  • Opening/closing (keyholder only, if applicable)
